Weight training can be pretty scary at the beginning and I know, for me, I was petrified to walk into the free weights area with all the experienced lifters for fear that I would look foolish and everyone would single me out as a novice and laugh at me.

However, that couldn’t have been further from the truth and it really doesn’t have to be so daunting.

My mission is to help as many women as possible to believe in themselves, become empowered and confident, and create a body she’s proud of by lifting weights. I’m here to simplify the science, debunk the myths and give you the confidence to take those first steps into the free weights area.

Why Bother Lifting Weights?

Weights burn fat faster… Actually develop shape, toned legs, lifted peachy bum… no amount of running or elliptical machine will do this for you.

Weights increase your metabolism… Weights strengthen your joints when cardio damages them… builds muscle tissue and develops a peachy and toned physique where cardio only burns calories (you can’t magically build muscle and toned arms from running or the elliptical machine). Weight training burns calories at rest with epoc. develops confidence and a sassy attitude 🙂
